The City of Lost Children (1995)
The city of lost children is a visually distinct and inventive dystopian fantasy world with elements of steampunk, freak-shows and dark fairy tales. It is about a scientist, who with a help of cyborgs (Cyclops Gang that has each replaced their eyes with a techno-monocle called “The Third Eye” that lets them see sound) kidnaps children to steal their dreams, hoping that they slow his ageing process. I chose this film, because of its incredible special effects, cinematography, sets and imaginative story line.
